DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LEH
Welcome to the ‘Roof of the World’. Upon arrival at Leh International Airport, meet our local representative and transfer to your hotel. Acclimatize and enjoy a relaxed evening visiting the iconic Shanti Stupa and local Leh market. Overnight stay in Leh.
DAY 2: EXPLORE LEH'S CULTURAL HERITAGE
After breakfast, set off for a day of heritage sightseeing. Visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, and Stok Palace Museum in the morning. Enjoy lunch at the hotel. Post lunch, explore Hall of Fame, Kali Mata Temple at Spituk Monastery, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the Indus-Zanskar Sangam. Dinner and overnight in Leh.
DAY 3: LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNG-LA PASS
Enjoy breakfast and begin a scenic drive through Khardung-La Pass (18,380 ft – the world’s highest motorable road). Explore the breathtaking Nubra Valley, visit Diskit Monastery and the Maitreya Buddha statue. Optional camel ride in Hunder sand dunes. Overnight stay at a camp or hotel in Nubra.
DAY 4: NUBRA TO PANGONG LAKE TO LEH
After breakfast, drive along the stunning Shyok River to the majestic Pangong Lake (bordering China). Spend a few hours exploring the surreal beauty of the lake. Return to Leh via Chang-La Pass (second highest motorable road). Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
DAY 5: DEPARTURE
Early morning transfer to Leh International Airport for your onward journey with memories of a magical Ladakhi escape.
