DAY 1: SHAWWAT BORDER (UZBEKISTAN-TURKMENISTAN) — KUNYA URGENCH — DARWAZA

Arrival at Shawwat Border. Meet your English-speaking local guide and driver. Begin your adventure into the heart of Turkmenistan. - Kunya Urgench Sightseeing (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
Visit: - Mausoleums of Il Arslan, Soltan Tekesh, Nejmeddin Kubra, Soltan Ali & Turabek-Khanum (12th Century)
- Minaret of Kutlug Timur & Mamun II
- Lunch: Local Turkmen cuisine in a traditional café.
- Drive to Darwaza Gas Crater ("Door to Hell") — 4WD Adventure
Travel deep into the Garagum Desert (approx. 268 km) to witness the famous burning gas crater. - Cultural Stop (Optional):
Short break at a desert village; visit a traditional Turkmen yurt and engage with locals. - Evening Experience:
- Barbecue dinner near the crater
- Overnight in traditional yurt camp (Sleeping bags or tents available on request)
DAY 2: DARWAZA — ASHGABAT CITY TOUR
- Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the yurt camp.
- Stop en route: 10-minute halt at the Mud and Water Craters for photo opportunities.
- Arrival in Ashgabat — Capital City of Turkmenistan
- Check-in at Ak Altyn Hotel.
- Rest and freshen up.
- Lunch: At a local Indian-friendly café.
- Evening City Tour Highlights:
- Stroll through marble-adorned avenues, beautiful parks, and fountains.
- Visit the Monument of Magtymguly Fragi, symbolizing Turkmen pride.
- Explore the modern business center and shop for souvenirs.
- Dinner at a city restaurant.
DAY 3: ASHGABAT — ALABAI DOGS — AKHAL-TEKE HORSES — NISSA FORTRESS
- Morning: Breakfast at the hotel.
- Visit to the Alabai National Nursery
Learn about the ancient Turkmen Alabai dogs, believed to date back to the 6th millennium BC. - Continue to Gökdepe:
- Explore the National Museum of Gökdepe.
- Visit Gökdepe Mosque.
- Turkmen Horse Farm Visit
Witness and ride the majestic Akhal-Teke horses (Golden Horses) – one of the world’s oldest and most unique breeds.
Legend says touching these horses brings good luck and healing. - Lunch: Light local meal
- Afternoon:
- Explore the ancient ruins of Nissa Fortress – former capital of the Parthian Empire (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
- Visit the National Museum of Turkmenistan.
- Evening: Dinner in Ashgabat.
- Return to hotel by 8:00 — 9:00 PM
DAY 4: ASHGABAT — TURKMENABAT — FARAP BORDER
- Morning: Breakfast at hotel and check-out.
- Domestic flight to Turkmenabat.
- Transfer by 4WD to Farap Border for exit towards Uzbekistan.
